Charts are maps, not mysteries. Read the key first, then move row by row.

Start at the legend

Every chart is a contract: the legend tells you what each symbol costs. Read it before you cast on, not at row forty.

Keep your place

Keep a pencil on the current row. When a repeat starts, mark it in the margin. Your future self will thank you at midnight.
